Installing a Motiva Liner Monopitch Canopy in a complementary colour, in conjunction with the surrounding walls meant we were able to provide St. Peter’s Primary School with a smart and versatile sheltered area.
Project – Motiva Linear canopy at St Peter’s Primary School
Product – Motiva Linear monopitch canopy
Requirement – If I were to say ‘Infilling Building Recesses’ at a party, I might not be very popular.
And yet these spaces are real opportunities for schools, areas that have become cut off and are now ignored, unloved and unused.
However, with a simple addition, these spaces can go from being undervalued to having a new lease of life.
Infilling building recesses is about taking areas that already have walls to either two or even three sides and, by adding a roof, making it into outdoor room. It’s less expensive than adding a brand new canopy onto the outside of an existing building but ultimately has the same effect. Year round, all weather space you can use for anything you like.
Solution – Installing a Motiva Linear Monopitch Canopy in a complementary colour, in conjunction with the surrounding walls meant we were able to provide St. Peter’s Primary School with a smart and versatile sheltered area for them to use for a variety of learning and play activities.
Result – The result is transformative, taking a space that was full of potential, we helped St. Peters to unlock it with just one simple addition.
This gives them a versatile area that increases the size of the school footprint and gives new social, learning and play space for their students.
