What did the project involve?
We built a Motiva Linear™ at Basingstoke College of Technology with specifications of 8000mm X 3300mm/2600mm. The staff liked the thought of a multicoloured roof so we designed their model to feature one, and the Dura-coat™ finish of the Motiva Linear™ meant that it would stay looking its best for years to come. Plus, the college – which has the mission ‘Building Careers of Tomorrow’ – requested Gentian Blue steelwork to set off the vivid roof. The outcome was an outdoor canopy that could encourage students to get outside, no matter the unpredictability of the British weather.
