What was the project brief?

Trinity School in Newbury reached out when they were looking to install an outdoor dining area for their playground; whilst they had been inspired by our recently completed projects, and particularly our Motiva Linear™ range, they were unsure which canopy would be best for their space and needs. To find the perfect solutions they had a consultation with our specialised team who help schools on a daily basis to design Exceptional Covered Spaces™.

What was our canopy solution?

We manufactured and installed three new canopies at Trinity School in Newbury; after discussing their needs with our expert consultation team, our solutions included two Motiva Linear™ canopies – with dimensions 7633mm X 8418mm and 8000mm X 7000mm – and a Maxima Sail™ shelter with dimensions 10000mm X 5000mm. All of the canopies used a Slate Grey Duracoat™ across all steelwork, ensuring they are long-wearing and resistant to corrosion, rust, scratching, peeling, and fading. The Motiva Linear™ canopy had an Opal polycarbonate roof; these panels are effective at magnifying and amplifying light into the area, whilst eradicating harmful UV rays. Alternatively, for the Maxima Sail™, the school chose to add a fun pop of colour, making use of our waterproof Raspberry fabric for the roof.
