What did the project involve?
We added a 5400mm x 5400mm Maxima Sail™ structure to West Ham Park, which was just what it needed. This model comes in a huge variety of colours and is known for its exciting designs, so we understood perfectly why our client chose it for its shade sail. The team at the park – which has a playground, Ornamental Gardens and sports facilities – requested an orange roof and galvanised steelwork. This made for a colourful and inviting shelter that could easily stand up against sun and rain in the seating area, so visitors could rest or eat there in any season.
