The Bridge Primary School in Suffolk Cover Playground Areas
Slate Grey - RAL NO. 7015
Opal Green - RAL NO. 6026
Welshampton C of E Primary School in Ellesmere, Shropshire wanted to add some shade and shelter to an area of their playing fields. This would allow the pupils to enjoy quality time in the outdoor space and fresh air on a more regular basis. Because the school is based in such a beautiful area, it was important that the canopy would work with the surrounding environment. Local company, A&S Landscape, was asked to design, manufacture and install the primary school canopy.
The A&S Landscape team quickly decided that our Maxima Tepee™ fabric canopy would be the ideal addition to the primary school. The overall canopy measures 6000mm x 6000mm, the modular structure has created plenty of covered space on the playing field. To match the school’s logo, the fabric roof was made with an Opal Green coloured material. This works well with the Slate Grey Dura Coat™ uprights.
So that the tepee could be used all year round, we made the roof with a PVC waterproof fabric. This means the pupils can shelter underneath the canopy from the rain, sun or even snow. If Welshampton C of E Primary School wanted to increase the functionality of the tepee further, they could add side panels and heating and lighting. Post Protector pads could also be added as an extra layer of protection.
It’s safe to say that Welshampton C of E Primary School in Shropshire is very happy with the fabric canopy, it is a lovely addition to the site. It has become the perfect play area for the pupils, as they protected from any rain and harmful UV rays. The outdoor shelter is regularly used during break times and during lessons too, as teachers gain the opportunity to take their classes outside. Play equipment can also be stored under the tepee, which will save valuable storage space inside. As well as a playground shelter, our tepees are also used as dining areas at schools.

Our colour school shelters are effective at adding a pop of colour to any area, which also encourages your pupils to play under the shelter too.
Make a great first impression by adding an entrance canopy to your reception area. This can help to frame your entranceway and make it clear for visitors to know where to go. And if you use an inter-comm system, your guests can stay nice and dry while they wait to enter the building. Pick from our Motiva Entro™ curved roof canopy or straight polycarbonate roof canopy the Motiva Entrada™.
