In other words, they have high standards!

So when they were looking to replace an old outdoor sports area with a new, covered, multi use games area, they chose A&S Landscape as the company to deliver their requirements.

Selecting our trademark Covered Muga™, Haileybury College worked with A&S Landscape to make sure that the installation went without a hitch. You can see how efficiently everything was installed by looking at our case study and timelapse videos on our website.

Why is PE such an important part of the school day and how it effects young people

The impact of PE can extend to altering the behaviour and character of a young pupil. A classroom setting can implement discipline to prepare a child for a professional world, but PE can prove beneficial in another manner. As well as encouraging the younger generation to a have a keen interest in sports, many lessons are focused on team sports, and can help to illustrate how to communicate with others. As a young person entering a career for the first time, the ability to work as a team, as well as independently, is one highly requested by organisations. To begin this at a young age would not only improve their chance of continuing a team sport as an adult, but could go as far as improving their potential employability.

There are so many more benefits to PE lessons, click here to access our full article.

We installed our Covered Muga™ at 32000mm x 13200mm in galvanised steelwork with opal roofing. But that was just the start, this covered multi-use games area also included authentic anti-static sports turf, basketball rings, goal frames, table tennis tables and additional outdoor furniture to ensure that the surrounding area became a feature too.

Haileybury College was delighted with their new product, telling us that ‘Everyone who has seen the finished project are absolutely overjoyed and the children can’t wait to start playing in it!’

If you’re looking to add some additional, all-weather, all year round sports areas to your school or college then you’ll find out more about our Covered Muga™ here.
