The Peele Community College wanted to create a sheltered area for its students to socialise, study and relax under. A&S Landscape worked with the college to create a stylish, yet practical shade solution.
Project – The Peele Community College create sheltered chill out area in Lincolnshire
Product – Maxima Sail
Requirement – The Peele Community College in Long Sutton, Lincolnshire recognised the importance of providing a sheltered space outside for their students. The area needed to be big enough to cover several benches, so the students could eat and work under the shelter. A&S Landscape proposed a fabric shade sail structure which would create plenty of covered space underneath.
Solution – A Maxima Sail canopy was installed at the college, comprising of two square sails with six posts. The Peele Community College chose a Victoria Blue and Celadon colour for the fabric, which works perfectly with the slate grey steelwork. The college also purchased two benches from the A&S Landscape shop.
Result – The students now have a dedicated area outside where they can go to relax, refresh or unwind. This space is sure to be popular during exam periods as an alternative revision area. Because of the waterproof PVC fabric used on the shade sails, this area can be enjoyed throughout the year, no matter the weather.
