Is alfresco dining a privilege or essential to students?

There are a variety of proven benefits to eating outside as a part of the school day. As school children spend the majority of the day in a classroom environment, it is crucial that they are given time to breathe at lunchtime. In spending this break outside, it not only provides a peaceful environment but can also curb levels of hyperactivity in a child. If a student is directed to spend their break inside, it can emulate the classroom environment and prevent them from taking a sufficient amount of time to relax. Outdoor dining is also a very sociable activity, free by the dining hall setting young people can talk with different year groups easily.

This is the second project that A&S Landscape have completed for Old Oak Primary School and this Maxima Shade Sail has delighted the school who gave us five star feedback.

“Faultless from start to finish, I have already recommended A&S Landscape to two other schools nearby. No problems at all!”
