What did the project involve?
A&S Landscape installed a 6000mm X 6000mm Maxima StarSail™ at Broadgreen Hospital. This shelter has an innovative design that combines the look of both umbrella and shade sail models. The staff at the hospital – which says ‘patients are at the centre of everything we do’ – chose White steelwork and a Moss Green roof to create the attractive, calming design they required. Thanks to the efficient protection of the shade sail, patients can now experience the benefits of spending time in the therapy garden in any season.
