The Mawney Foundation School in London Cover Playground Area

A straight roof Motiva Linear canopy was installed at the school, creating a large amount of covered space. The slate grey steelwork complements the surrounding buildings perfectly, creating a subtle, modern effect. Harmful UV rays are blocked by the opal polycarbonate roofing, which also allows some sunlight through.

Playtimes at The Mawney Foundation School can be now be enjoyed outside, no matter the weather. The new canopy has already been a huge hit with the staff and pupils and is a very popular place at break times. Parents can also wait under the shelter at the end of the school day, while they are waiting for their children. We previously installed a fabric tepee canopy at The Mawney Foundation School, so it was great to get to work the team again.

The school can also store play equipment underneath the shelter saving valuable space inside. From wet, windy mornings to hot sunny afternoons, the canopy provides protection against all the elements. We’re certain that this shelter will be a great addition to the school for many years to come.

Working for our building contractor client our engineers designed a straight polycarbonate roof canopy at Former Minchenden School Southgate, London, Greater London. The contract included one Motiva™ Cantilever straight roof canopy measuring 7794mm X 3000mm with Alu-Tuff™ aluminium box profile guttering and downpipes in matching Dura-coat™.

Straight Roof Shelter and Fabric Tepee Canopy Added to Minchenden School

Working alongside our building contractor client our engineers created two straight polycarbonate roof canopies and a tensile fabric roof Tepee in Minchenden School High Street, Southgate, London. The job involved the supply and installation of two canopies and a tepee.  One Motiva™ Cantilever straight roof canopy measuring 33824mm X 3000mm with post protection pads and one Motiva™ Cantilever straight roof canopy measuring 17241mm X 2600mm with post protection pads.  Both canopies included for our Alu-Tuff™ aluminium box profile guttering and downpipes which were coated in a matching Dura-coat™ colour finish.

Working alongside the building contractor our team made two straight polycarbonate roof canopies at Eleanor Smith Sebd School Plaistow, London, Greater London. The full contract involved the supply and installation of one Motiva™ monopitch straight roof canopy measuring 25540mm X 2500mm and included for our Alu-Tuff™ aluminium box profile guttering and downpipes which were coated in a matching Dura-coat™ colour finish.
