Outdoor Dining Canopy at Bishop Stopford School

Bishop Stopford CofE School in Kettering is committed to providing a high-quality environment for its students, both inside and outside the classroom. When the need arose for additional outdoor dining space, the school collaborated with A&S Landscape to create a smart and functional shelter that would improve lunchtimes for their pupils.

Our Solution:

To help the school achieve their goal of increasing outdoor seating capacity, we designed and installed our large Motiva Mono™ canopy. The curved, monopitch roof structure is a popular choice for dining and social areas thanks to its stylish look and effective weather protection.

Key Features and Materials:

Structure: Mono-pitch curved roof canopy, measuring 12000mm x 6000mm, finished in a robust Slate Grey Duracoat™ for lasting protections against scratches, rust, and corrosion.
Roofing: Opal Poly-tuff™ roofing, enabling light to diffuse into the area whilst irradicating harmful UV rays.

Results:

The school now have a stylish outdoor dining space that can accommodate over 70 pupils for dining and socialising.
The new structure has created an inviting, practical environment that gives students the option to enjoy their meals outdoors.
Dining outdoors will support the school’s mission to enhance student wellbeing, by encouraging fresh air and outdoor time during the school day.
