Outdoor Dining Canopies Installed at Sheffield Park Academy
Sheffield Park Academy, located within North Sheffield, were looking to enhance their outdoor dining facilities by installing some large and robust outdoor canopies. Having identified this need for additional dining space, the academy reached out to A&S Landscape to provide them with suitable solution that could be used all year-round.

What was the project brief?
Sheffield Park Academy were in need of additional sheltered dining areas that would allow students to eat and socialise outdoors, regardless of the weather. The aim was to create a versatile outdoor environment that would offer shelter while maintaining a modern and practical aesthetic.
What was our school canopy solution?
After assessing the academy’s needs, we installed two of our Motiva Duo™ canopies; one measuring 25,000mm x 6,000mm and the other 18,000mm x 6,000mm. Both canopies were fitted with integrated light fittings, to ensure that the spaces remained usable throughout the day and into the evening.
In order to provide a durable and visually appealing finish, we used our Sky Blue Duracoat™ on all of the steelwork, providing added protection against scratches and proventing colour fading. The Opal polycarbonate roof allows for plenty of natural light to filter through while offering shelter and UV protection.
