What was the project brief?

entrance shelter broadmead roadBroadmead Business Park in Stewartby, Bedfordshire wanted to add eight entrance shelters to their facilities. They needed the products to shield visitors and people making deliveries from the unpredictable British weather, signpost the ways in, and improve the look of the entrances by providing a modern design. The team also wanted to purchase the canopies in two different sizes to suit the site’s varying needs. They contacted A&S Landscape, who was happy to accommodate these requirements and find the model that best suited them.

What was our canopy solution?

There were several options to choose from, but after talking through the benefits with the knowledgeable team at A&S Landscape, Broadmead Business Park decided that the Motiva Entrada™ would create the ideal shelters. This model has an attractive angled roofline that makes an impression on any guest, as well as a free standing canopy design which means that it doesn’t interfere with brickwork. The staff picked out Slate Grey steelwork and Smoky Grey glass roofs that lent a feeling of class and blended well with the architecture of the site. What’s more, A&S Landscape was able to provide eight durable products in two sizes to this client in the beautiful county of Bedfordshire – three measuring 5600mm X 1400mm and five measuring 2400mm X 1500mm. This meant that they were adapted to suit the varying entrances, and people arriving at the business park would be both protected from bad weather and could easily find their way in.

What was the result of the entrance shelters?

The new canopies at Broadmead Business Park have been a great success; they have created a look of unity across the site and each entrance shelter makes it simple for visitors to get on with their day – whether they’re arriving for a meeting or making a delivery – even in the rain or wind. Entrance canopies are a valuable addition to any business, thanks to their ability to dramatically uplift the atmosphere of commercial buildings, and this project was no exception. The staff at Broadmead Business Park near the diverse and entertaining town of Bedford were happy with the outcome and that A&S Landscape had found a way to adapt their products to meet their needs.

How can entrance canopies improve a business’s first impression on its customers?

Shelters can benefit a wide variety of businesses, and the entrance canopy is one of the simplest and most cost-effective choices when purchasing one to impress both potential clients and regulars. This kind of shelter demonstrates to customers that you care about more than their money; you care about their wellbeing. Setting up such a product ensures that visitors stay dry in the rain and also shows that you have put extra thought into designing your premises to benefit them.

Entrance canopies are a fantastic way of extending your brand to the exterior of your building. Carefully choosing steelwork and a roof outside that matches your colour scheme creates a coherent visual style that can make a strong impression on any customer, which can then continue as they make their way inside. To passersby, an eye-catching frontage makes you stand out from the commercial crowd and offers curb appeal to encourage them to visit your business, rather than your competitors.

No matter what kind of product or service you sell or how your commercial site is laid out, A&S Landscape can help you to find the right way to use a canopy to give your business an advantage by impressing your customers.
