Bespoke Dining Canopy at Sharples School in Bolton

Sharples School in Bolton needed a dining shelter so its students could eat and relax in the fresh air all year round and have more space during break times. The finished product needed to come with glass panels and an attractive, welcoming design.

What did the project involve?

A&S Landscape installed a bespoke Motiva Duo™ on the grounds of Sharples School. The team at this institution – who aim to ‘provide first class learning and teaching opportunities every day’ – picked out this model because they liked its stylish, symmetric curved roof. The bespoke element allowed us to add glass panels to the dining canopy to offer extra protection from bad weather for students spending breaks outside. Now, there is more room for everyone at these times and there are shorter queues at existing facilities.
