What did the project involve?
We installed two Maxima Sail™ canopies at Ysgol Morgan Llwyd that were adapted to its site – one with a 6000mm x 6000mm sail on four uprights, and the other with three 6000mm x 6000mm sails on eight uprights. The Maxima Sail™ was a fantastic choice due to its impressive aesthetics and availability in different shapes and sizes. The team at the school – a Welsh medium secondary school with a popular Sixth Form – selected stunning Squirrel Grey steelwork and Velvet Red roofs for their shade sails. Students can now use the sheltered seating spaces to get outside with friends and eat during break times, in any weather.
