St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Worcestershire Add Playground Shelter
After an old timber canopy was damaged by the weather, St Mary’s Catholic Primary School turned to A&S Landscape to install a sturdy, reliable shelter.

A straight roof Motiva Linear was added to the playground, replacing the previous structure. Measuring 10m X 5.6m, there is plenty of space for many pupils to play underneath at once. The marine blue steelwork adds a pop of colour to the area too. Glazed panels were also added to the top half of the front of the canopy to block the wind.
The pupils absolutely love their new playground shelter and it has become a very popular place during playtimes! Now they can continue to spend valuable time outdoors in the fresh air, no matter the weather conditions. This allows them to let off steam and refresh before their next lesson. Wet break is now a thing of the past at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Worcestershire.
The staff were so happy once they secured funding from a grant as they knew how important the new canopy would be. It’s great that we could help out and ensure that this time they can enjoy using their canopy for many years to come.
