Outdoor Shelter at Edna G Olds Nottingham
High Hazels Academy decided to add an entrance canopy to their campus as part of a larger development scheme. A&S Landscape proposed a straight roof canopy which the academy chose to install.
Ultramarine Blue - RAL NO. 5002
A shelter from the Motiva range was added in front of the reception at the academy. The canopy measures 6600mm X 2600mm so there is enough space for several people to stand underneath at once. The marine blue steelwork matches the academy’s branding and complements the surrounding buildings. Thanks to the opal polycarbonate roofing, the shelter also offers protection against harmful UV rays, while still allowing some sunlight through.
Now when visitors arrive at High Hazels Academy they are greeted by a smart entrance, which creates a strong first impression. If they are using an intercom system, they can stand sheltered away from the weather. The notes on the message board located outside of the main doors can also be read more often, as it can be easily seen from underneath the canopy.
Want an entrance canopy that carries out your business’s branding out to the front of your building? This can be an wonderful way of making a mark on possible clients and passers-by while producing a professional and coherent visual style that shows you are a business that pays attention to details. Your branding is your public image and it is key to how you promote and market yourself. Being able to continue this with wonderful door canopies and porch canopies is an superb opportunity for any firm.

Together with the signage, the shelter has helped the academy demonstrate their high level of standards and excellence. Already the entrance canopy has been a very popular addition to the campus. And we also worked with another great school in Sheffield, Wharncliffe Side Primary School.
A&S Landscape offers a range of entrance canopies to suit all building types, with curved, straight or wave roofs. They are often a cost-effective way of ‘lifting’ the whole frontage of a building and creating an effective focal point. Browse our gallery to see examples of our work.
