Multiple Canopies at Haughmond Federation Site in Shrewsbury

The Haughmond Federation needed seven shelters for its new Shrewsbury build making Harlescott Junior School and Sundorne Infant School and Nursery part of a single site. The team there wanted matching models which would enable pupils to play outdoors all year round.

What did the project involve?

A&S Landscape installed seven Motiva Linear™ canopies at the Haughmond Federation site, comprising Harlescott Junior School and Sundorne Infant School and Nursery. The staff – who follow a ‘pursuit for excellence in education’ – liked the design of this model with its asymmetric straight roof that can easily keep out rain and wind. The matching outdoor shelters of Squirrel Grey steelwork and Opal polycarbonate made the outside spaces as aesthetically pleasing as the brand-new buildings, and now pupils can have fun in the fresh air at playtimes throughout the year.
