As part of the redevelopment of Queens Market in Rhyl, a new indoor food court and decked outdoor dining area were created to provide a vibrant community hub. The client wanted to make the outdoor space more comfortable and welcoming by introducing a shade solution that would complement the setting and offer protection for visitors. A&S Landscape were approached to deliver a modern canopy concept that addressed both aesthetic and practical needs.
Karloo Sand
Anthracite Grey - RAL NO. 7016
To meet the client’s requirements, we designed and installed a bespoke Maxima Sail® canopy arrangement that would both enhance the setting and provide reliable coverage for diners. The sail design was carefully chosen for its modern appearance, which complements the new food court development while also addressing the practical need for shelter. By incorporating a tensioned fabric structure supported on sleek steel uprights, the canopy delivers a robust yet elegant solution that improves the usability of the outdoor space.
The new canopy installation at Queens Market Rhyl demonstrates how functional design can also enhance visitor experience. The Maxima Sail® structure provides shade, and adds visual impact to the redeveloped food court area; creating a more enjoyable place for the community to socialise, dine, and spend time outdoors.
