Heathrow Community Fund – Projects for Young People

The Projects for Young People grant supports projects that help young people up to age 24 build skills, confidence, and brighter futures. The fund focuses on resilience, aspirations, mental wellbeing, and routes into training or work.

Eligible Organisations

Charities, voluntary groups, schools, colleges, and community interest companies can apply. Applicants must have a constitution and a bank account with two signatories, and work in approved Heathrow area boroughs.

Suitable Projects

Projects should support young people through skills building, employability, confidence, or mental resilience. Examples include training programmes, community projects led by young people, and activities that remove barriers to work.

Application Process

Applications are made online through the Heathrow Community Trust website. Groups must read the Grant Making Guidelines before applying, and projects must start within three months of the decision date.

Important Dates

  • Round 1 opens 12 February 2026 and closes 26 March 2026, with decisions on 4 June 2026.
  • Round 2 opens 16 July 2026 and closes 10 September 2026, with decisions on 2 December 2026.

Funding Range

Grants of up to £15,000 are available for eligible projects supporting young people.
