Awards for All England

Awards for All England wish to help the lives of local people and their communities by improving community and grassroots activities.

There are a number of outcomes that the grant would like a funded project to achieve:

  • Better training and development access with greater opportunities for people to improve their life skills
  • More integrated communities
  • Improving the environment
  • Improve activity levels and health for people and communities

It provides National Lottery funding for projects in England that bring people together, build strong relationships, and improve local places and spaces.

 

Eligible Organisations

  • A not-for-profit group
  • Parish or town council
  • Schools or health companies
  • Charities
  • Co-operatives
  • Friendly societies
  • Industrial and provident societies

This also includes constituted community groups, CIOs, CICs, community benefit societies, and statutory bodies, as long as projects benefit the wider community.

Suitable Projects

  • Events, activities or performances
  • Equipment or materials
  • Training programmes
  • New projects or groups
  • Repairs or conservation work
  • Expenses
  • Transport costs

Projects can last up to two years and should bring people together, support early help, improve community spaces, or help communities facing cost-of-living pressures.

Application Process

Read the online guidance notes before you apply, then complete and submit the online form. Applications must be written by your organisation, decisions usually take up to 16 weeks, and funding should not be spent before approval.

Important Dates

There is no deadline, so you can apply at any time. Applications should be sent at least 16 weeks before you need the funding or plan to start your project.

Funding Range

Grants can be as high as £20,000 in total, with a maximum of £20,000 per organisation in any 12-month period.
