William Farr Comprehensive School is a Church of England school for 11 to 18 year olds, located in the village of Welton, near Lincoln.

During the summer of 2012 A&S Landscape worked with William Farr school to design a scheme offering individual shaded areas for external dining and excitingly a covered performance area.

The Maxima Sail at 5 metres x 5 metres complete with waterproof fabric was the ideal choice for the individual dining areas offering wide waterproof coverage for the picnic benches along with excellent aesthetics, four of these have been used in line and all in matching colours. The 6 metres x 6 metres Maxima Sail complete with curved uprights and waterproof fabric makes a bold statement and is well suited to this application. The steelwork is coated in a RAL colour to match the building and the fabric is in the school Blue all to stunning effect.
