Mynydd Mawr Hospital decided to install two canopies to cover the main entrances at the site. This would prevent the patients from getting wet while they waited to enter the building.
A&S Landscape added two Motiva Entro straight roof canopies to the hospital. One of the shelters was mounted to the wall so even more space underneath was created. This canopy is finished in white steelwork and measures 1675mm X 800mm.
The second shelter is slightly larger, measuring 3250mm X 3000mm. The hospital chose a modern graphite grey steelwork, which works perfectly with the surrounding environment. Both of the canopies include opal polycarbonate roofing which provides essential protection against harmful UV rays.
Now the patients, staff and visitors can wait outside the building sheltered from the elements. From cold, rainy days to hot, sunny afternoons, the new canopies will offer great cover from the weather. The canopies could also be used when the patients are waiting for a taxi and don’t want to be exposed to the elements. Mynydd Mawr Hospital is so happy with the work that they rated A&S Landscape five out of five stars.
